Alyse Romano

alyse-romano-dance-photo-1 Alyse started her training in the Bay Area with Pacific Ballet Academy and has attended summer
courses with American Ballet Theater and Joffrey Ballet. She graduated with a B.F.A. in Dance from
the University of California Santa Barbara where she studied ballet, modern, and choreography
under the instruction of Valerie Huston, Nancy Colahan, and Christopher Pilafian. She toured New
York and Italy with the UCSB Dance Company under the direction of Delila Moseley and
performed works by Jose Limon, Peter Pucci, and Donald McKale. With a full scholarship from the
Arnhold Foundation, she spent a summer in New York studying at the Dance Education Laboratory
Summer Intensive and performing with Selah Dance Collective. Alyse currently dances for the
Natasha Carlitz Dance Ensemble and will be joining Bay Pointe Ballet for their Nutcracker season.
