Cindy

Cindy began her dance training at the age of 5 at SpectorDance in Monterey, CA. At SpectorDance, she trained in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance and was part of the inaugural SpectorDance Youth Company. She joined the SpectorDance Company at the age of 16, under the direction of Fran Spector Atkins. Cindy has performed in Atkins’ Ocean Trilogy on stages around the country, including Stanford University and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. In addition to performing, she enjoys teaching, coaching, and staging dance.

Cindy has attended summer programs at prestigious dance institutions, including American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Austin, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Joffrey Ballet School.

Currently, she is studying Biology and Dance at Santa Clara University. At Santa Clara University, she is involved in many of the productions and activities associated with the Department of Theatre & Dance as well as working on diversity initiatives around campus.
