Léann

Léann started dancing at Harmony Dance Center at the age of 7 when it first opened in 2004 where she trained in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary and Hip Hop.

During her time at HDC, Léann was on the Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, and Hip Hop Teams. She became Team Captain her last year at HDC and was Stage Manager at the June Recital the following years.

While pursuing her Bachelors in Computer Science and Art at Carnegie Mellon University, she remained highly involved in the dance community. Léann was a dancer and choreographer for various dance companies and organizations at CMU: Infra Dance Company, Soulstylz, Dancers’ Symposium, and Lunar Gala. In addition, she was on the board of Soulstylz and Entertainment Coordinator for Lunar Gala. 

Coming back to HDC as a teacher and as Studio Director, she is very excited to return to the studio that played such an important role in becoming the dancer she is today.
